Biography: Off-season weight: 200-210lbs Competition weight: 176lbs Height: 56 My interest in Bodybuilding began back in 1978 at age 15,
prompted by the TV series the Incredible Hulk with Lou Ferrigno.
After purchasing a plastic 110lb weight set, a cheap bench, and a book on
training by the great Franco Columbo, I was on my way! I started competing in 89 at a local show.
Bodybuilding competition became my passion.
After that, I competed in 2 to 3 shows a year from 90 to 94. These
included local shows, state level (NYS Championships and Empire State
Championships) and the Niagara Falls Grand Am.
I consistently placed within the top 5 in the lightweight class at each
show. However, at that pace burnout
was inevitable. After an 8 year break from competition, I returned to the
stage in 2002. My competition highlights: 1991 YMCA Mr Syracuse 1st Lightweight 1991 Syracuse Night of the Champions 1st
Lightweight 1994 Fulton YMCA Novice Physique Competition - 1st
Lightweight, Best Poser, Overall 2002 NPC Ironman Classic 5th Middleweight 2003 NPC Rochester Bodybuilding Championships 3rd
Middleweight 2003 NPC Ironman Classic 1st Middleweight,
Overall 2004 NPC JR USA 3rd Middleweight 2004 NPC JR Nationals 12th Middleweight The 2005 season consisted of the NPC JR Nationals, and the
IFBB North American Championships. It was a tough year for me in & out of
the gym as well is off and on the stage. As
this was not one of my better years Ive determined it is time to give my body
and my mind a year off to rest. I
will concentrate on adding much more mass, quality mass, during this time.
The 2007 season will more than likely see me getting back up there, but
for now my competitive plans are not definite.
